    Aww yay! I’m glad the hoopoes are appreciated! I’m concluding a semester abroad in Athens, Greece right now and the hoopoes have finally arrived for the summer. To say the least, it makes me really excited. :) 

    And that scientific name is pretty much the best. Hoopoe itself is just a great word, but upupa epops takes it to a whole new level!
